I have a large array of #'s entirely similar to 6572201614, that are off by only one digit. (So...1612, 1618, 1610, etc.)
If it does happen noticeably quite often, you'll will remember the beginning of the numbers w/ same area code and what have you.
Then it's easy and practical to begin blocking each one that calls, and whether the range of calls are from sparingly to moderate to increasingly consistent to annoying... in my experience, it will become almost second nature to quickly block any new, similar number attempting to call your cellular device. And with all this kept in mind and in perspective as well, it will be one more very minor & small inconvenience that you have now successfully bypassed in a very easy & effective manner.
P.S....(I too had this particular # call my phone and hang up before I even had a chance to ignore their attempted solicitation. I would not answer this call, for I'm answering hear numbers, one would have only something to lose and nothing to gain). Thank You – R.
Second call from this organization in one day, but a different number. I normally don't answer numbers I don't recognize but because it was a southern California number, thought it might be work-related. Ha. Fooled me once, and yes, fooled me twice.
11/25 Call.
Pro Tip, on UNKNOWN callers, answer but don't say anything. Once you say "Hello" it logs it as a valid number to retry again. A real caller will ask "Hello?"
I am so sick of these calls on my cell phone. No I did not sign up for a trip at the store! I received a call last week from the same number but the last four were slightly different 1617 instead of 1614 and now 1614 called. I never ever answer these because I heard there was a scam that just by answering you got charged. The rule is if they do not leave a message they are not worth talking too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
