This phone number originates as a land-line from A CLEC (Competetive Local Exchange Carrier). The company is Peerless Networks in Anaheim. Peerless hides the name of the client, who is using the number as a fence for an illegal autodialer. The fence is spoofed by the autodialer and the client cannot be prosecuted because the client is spoofing their own number. Peerless does nothing about it, because as long as the client is unknown, it is almost impossible to prosecute Peerless for hosting the scheme. There's probably a considerable kickback to Peerless. These schemes are very popular among CLEC's.
One of several in the past year or two...(I guess)...Finally remembered something called 'Block Calls', and engaged it. This sort of thing is a tad annoying...Have a great day everyone! :-)
