You live in a dream world! Our phones are ringing off the hook and becoming almost useless! Our Senior Citizens are being scammed and ripped off for billions! The DoNotCall implementation is run by incompetent bureaucrats who couldn't manage a donut shop, just like the guy said in regards to how effectively the government protects our boarders... totally incompetent!
That number called about 20 times and one of the calls it went to the answering machine. It was about a survey and also they said we won a trip to the Bahamas.
This is an identity thief. If you answer they sell your number because you have confirmed there is a person on the other end of the phone. If you listen to the whole sales pitch about how you won a vacation and stay on the line to speak with the agent, they sell your number for even more money. The ultimate goal is to get your social security number. They got mine last summer and stole my identity. I was able to shut them down before they were able to spend the money on the credit cards. Thank you credit karma. Don't answer calls from phone numbers you do not know. If they don't leave a message....Block it. It's not a real number anyway. They are spoofing the number. (pinging their call off of another phone)
