My call was from 657-549-5757. Automated vmail called them back claimed they were from IRS. This going to legal wanted lawyer name. and offered representation for lawsuit on taxes owed from 3 past years in amount of about 4,000. Supposed to have local law enforcement send me legal file have heard nothing since. BIG TIME SCAM
Just got a call when I answered it was an automated voice saying i was going to get arrested and to call my attorney because I owed money. Also saying they contacted me in the past (false). When asked can I speak with a manager they claimed he didn't understand and knew who i spoke to but didn't know there name. Asked me why did I want to speak with a manager. Smh very rude and put someone else in the line that asked me either I understand or dont. SCCCAAMM. When i said I understand your a fraud they hung up.
I was called this AM, a robo call, urgent IRS etc...I called the number back and asked them to identify themselves. They said it was Ben Turner from the IRS, you can hear a lot of people in the background talking so it is a large operation. He did not speak fluent English, I keep saying what did you say, Then I told him that I did not believe he was anything but a scammer because he did not even speak fluent English, to which he replied, "[***]". I informed that US government employees do not say words like that to US citizens and hung up on him. I am calling the IRS in few minutes to report this.
