Tell them you have been victimized by a payday loan scam and your personal identifying information has been compromised. You also need to place fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus.
they called and it was "karen from account services" but it was a recording of that recording!!! it was so bad. the normal recordings sound like a recording but this was a recording of that one LOL!! so i said go get a real job making money the way the rest of us do. stop trying to scam hard working individuals for their money. get a real job. i feel bad for you mrsap it's not your fault.
They just confirmed your number was good the minute you answered it. They will sell your number to other scammers and also phone you again.
most sell phone providers have the ability to at least temporarily block numbers for no charge. Log onto your account and add the number. Next time they call they won't be able to get through.
