This number is involves in an attempted Craigslist scam whereby they answer an ad in another location, claim to be out of the country at the moment but want to buy your item, promise to wire the money to your account , etc
Craigslist scammer. I didn't even respond to the text. The "person" is not even a local in my area.

I agree with Craigslister, do not trust a non-local number.
Exactly! craigslist & Kijiji are NOT eBay. They were set up for local sales, similar to a newspaper. If you want to ditch the scammers, just put "Local only, Cash only, No texts" in your ad. You could also put "No Paypal", but 'cash only' kind of says it.
He'll send full price plus $150 so I can ship it to his pastor's son in Africa. It would be a better idea to have it picked up at my home by the tooth fairy.
