Received a call from this number yesterday. It was man with an Indian man accent with a fake sounding English name, claiming to be from Microsoft. He said they detected problems on my computer and wanted me to go to my computer so they could walk me through how to fix it. (Yeah right!) There was a lot of background noise. I asked for his number and he gave a 1-800 phone #. I then asked for his Employee # and then he refused to provide one and hung up. Unfortunately last year they caught a senior neighbour with this scam. Whatever they did caused his computer to stop working and he had to pay money to get it fixed. After he realized he was a victim of fraud he had even more hassle of changing his banking information and passwords etc. etc.
