Caller ID said Out of Area. Did not leave a message. Other websites indicate this caller says he is a licensed contractor looking for work. Number now blocked on my phone.

Calls my number & leaves no message. I call back & get message from Verizon stating there's no such number. Hmmm ...

Some guy who claims to be a licensed contractor that wants to bid on a job for you. Didn't care that I was on the no-call list.

Called and left no message.  From comments above, I just blocked the number

It's a spoofed number. Got one from the high school down the street yesterday. Called the school to make sure it wasn't them.
