Scam - left several messages that we had not completed our Covered CA application and to please call - 1 (888) 570-1080, to complete and pay. All FALSE !!!
I also received this call. The lady says "Hey, I was calling to help you finish your obamacare application". So knowing I have my own insurance through my employer, I ask "realy? cause I never started an application for process." She says "oh, well maybe its a mistake but your name came up. So, I said "Came up where?and How?" She then replies "On the internet and you dont have to be mean." Realy snotty. So as I am trying to tell her that I am not being mean, but i have every right to know where they are getting my info and name and ask as many questions as I want.. She hung up on me..So I called back to speak to someone else and they said they are from Bayside Insurance and they are a broker for Covered California.
I also have been receiving calls in california from Bayside. The agent explained that they are being contracted by Affordable Care to follow up with people who began searches for Affordable Care but did not buy a plan.
