Caller ID Lancaster CA... Left no VM

This # left a message telling us they were the IRS and were going to file a lawsuit against us. We have never received any written correspondence from any agency and the message did not have any identifying information in it to identify us. Also they were calling from area code 661, but wanted us to call a number in the 209 area code. We are taking this as a scam.
