I have also received several calls from a man with an Indian sounding accent. He says his name is Adam Scott. Indicates he is an officer with the Bureau of Investigation. Says that I took a payday loan and that my credit score will drop, had the same thing happen a few months ago as well. Has anyone had any success with reporting these scam artists?
these people are calling me saying i'm being sued for 4082. and that if i don't pay it i will be taken to jail for 6 months, they are calling my work for information. told me they were going to call my work and tell them i have bad credit. told me my credit score was going to drop 65 points and fico score 45 points. they told me i was going to be arrested and taken to court in california, i'm from iowa. when asking them question they hang up on me, but they still call back he says his name is officer adam scott. they have last four digits of my ssn and ask if it's right i said no they said what is it then, don't tell them anything. i called the police dept today and reported them to the FTC.

The number traces back to Bakersfield CA I got a call from them today and had a few nasty words with them and they kept doing the samething with hanging up on me as well. I also talked to an "officer Adam Scott' and "officer Victor Rich" I am going to look up the local police dept in that area and maybe give them all call.
Same BS as Kel they are telling me they are suing for $6,800 and that I will be arrested and taken to court in California. They are rude on the phone and hang up on you randomly but keep calling me back. One claims he is "officer Victor Rich" and the other one claims to be "officer Adam Scott" Its sad but they have all my info too including my current address and emplyoer. The two numbers they use trace back to Bakerfield CA and San Jose CA
It's been happening to me for a year now and it hasn't worked so I don't know why they keep trying. A Local Detective already told him to stop calling me. I had this message waiting for me when I got to work this morning. Have no fear of these people and for God's sake, do not send them any money.
