This is a debt collection group that has obtained some information from Sallie Mae/Navient regarding student loans. They call themselves Account Control Technology. They may not always have the correct information but will try to pursue payment with fees attached. It is difficult to talk with debt collectors as they really are not interested in anything except collection. In our case, Navient combined loans that we did not make. When I paid my loan and wrote them letters explaining the error about the other loan, I never received a response concerning the error. I also wrote to the Department of Education requesting funds from an overpayment of $7,000. Still no response. Is there justice for citizens for errors made by big companies who do not even respond. We even sent them copies of our signed loan statement showing the discrepancy. American Citizens need a responsive government that makes big companies interact reasonably and fairly with its constituents.
