This number has been calling my office for months and they never ever say anything. Not one thing, I am thinking about sending a cease and desist order to them and possible a law suit as we are on all the do not call lists.
Same with me for two straight weeks.. First call 10:24 AM second called 11:14 AM third call 5:57 PM fourth call 7:07 PM always unavailable.. Have left messages to stop calling but the call still continue!!!
I have received calls from this number a few time in the last week. They don't leave a message.
I started receiving this kind of calls (from different numbers) on my cellphone only after I stopped subscribing to San Jose Mercury News a few months ago. They left a message in the first couple of calls (sounded like people directly working for the paper). Then I started receiving no-message calls on almost a daily basis, some times multiple calls a day, for a period of time. Then a new number from a different city would call. Including this number, I have gone through 5 numbers (blocked them).
I checked these numbers online. At least three of them were tied to (people complained) newspapers in different cities in the Bay Area. I think these papers are under the same company. These telemarketers either work for this company or sell the calling list. People have complained about this for years. Telemarketers use auto-dialing. I heard they get paid based on the number of calls that go through.
Non-Stop Harassment from San Jose Mercury News, Bay Area News Group (BANG) after subscription ended. Calls numerous times every-day all-day according to my call-blocker, since I don't answer these calls. Receiving other telemarketing calls around same time with phony name such as "Byron De Soto" (Argus Publishing), so likely related jerks.
