I believe this is a scam number. I responded to a "Billing Clerk" posting on Craigslist. They emailed me a couple of times, then said I was shortlisted for the job, then sent me a check from Virginia National Bank, and asked me to deposit it. Then I would take out $700 from the check (which was for $3,150.00) for my weekly wage, and use the rest for a MoneyPak from CVS or Walgreens. They sent the check by UPS priority mail using a flat rate envelope. When I got the check this morning, I called Virginia National Bank, and they said there was no such account number and I was the 2nd caller about the same thing this morning. I sent the police department information about all of this, too.
If you look on the fake check, I noticed where they put the bank's name "Virginia National Bank", they spelled it "Virgina...".
