Recevied an automated voicemail from this number 661-378-9322. I am extremely cautious and skeptical as I have been informed before from my attorney that the IRS would never contact me by phone. Therefore I will not be answering calls from this number, nor will I be returning their call.
I also got the a call from this number. I let it go straight to voicemail. I am going to post this on FB and warn everyone I know. This is a scam. The IRS would never call you. They will send you a letter first. Let's be vigilant and kick these scammers [***]. Spread the word. Don't be fooled by them.
I let this go straight to VM. An automated message was left saying the IRS has issued an arrest warrant and that I was being monitored. I realize this is a scam as the IRS would not send me an automated call. While this is a scam of some sort, I would also consider it harassment. I never answer calls I don't recognize and I have since blocked this specific number.
The first time I got a call and listened to voice mail they left, I was dumbfounded....it sent a shiver down my spine. 10 seconds later, I realized that I had just gotten "one of those" scam calls. That was 3 or so years ago. Since then, I've gotten 3 or 4 more like this from the "IRS". Unreal that these people, whoever they are can get away with scaring innocent people who, unlike me, may not to realize it's just that; a threatening scam. With all the new technology that exists today, wouldn't you think the government would easily be able to track these people down and shut them down? I guess that's just not the priority right now. I have saved many of these phone numbers in my contact list so when they call, I can see "it's them again". Short of using any profanity, I will end my rant right now. Have a nice day and be safe and smart. :-)
