This is a computer generated number. If you get a call from this number, it is most likely a scammer. There is no reason anyone some have to use a fake phone #. I understand if a person wants to be discreet, but why would a person want to be discreet if they are not involved in something fishy???
Hacked my papal, got access to all my personal information, has charged >$500 to date. All cards closed down, filing fraud. Had changed the email address and phone number on my paypal account; however, I got to it first. No call, but got my cc information. Such a hassle.
Got a call from this number, was two young men. They continously called me a [***], used racist terms and were extremely stupid. Very annoying, but seemed to just be two idiots making a prank call.
We received hundreds of these calls into our company, however, a large percentage of them appear to be legit, but we did have at least 1 instance of fraud. Not sure why the legit calls come up with this as it's ANI
