They sent me messages wanting to buy something i had posted on craigslist  Dallas Texas the number is from Bakersfield California

I am selling something too and they have contacted me. Want to send me a "bank check" over night and then arrange for local pickup... seems fishy. All within the last three hours.

I had the same thing. Listed something on Craigslist they message the same about sending bank check and need my info

Here in Colorado also. Said would buy item on Craigslist sight unseen and would give a bank check. Definitely a scammer.
