I got a call from this number this morning leaving a minute long voicemail saying that a guy named Ricky needs me or my attorney to call him back if not I'm going to get arrested. I searched up the number and seen it was a scam. I called him back letting him know I called the police and was reporting him, and to. Stop calling me and he said I was going to get arrested, then I said about the police and he said bye. I'm scared that he has all my information and can do whatever with it. What else should I do?

They called my job spoke to my supervisor said I was involved in criminal activity that I need to send 1250.00  by Thursday via money pack for a loan I did not take out. When they called from 661-451-2085 they said there name was Jon marshall and that he was a paralegal when I asked more questions he transferred me to some one else . Then they asked me to verify my social and I told them I don't give that out. How do I stop these calls at work and  cell???  Do I need to contact my local state's attorney??

Ignore it.  Total scam.  Be on the lookout if anyone calls you with an Indian accent threatening you.  There is no arrest for civil debt in the US. There are no debtor's prisons. Police do not get involved in ordinary civil disputes. Only a judge can issue an arrest warrant and only if duly constituted law officers make an application and there is reasonable cause.  And that is only in criminal matters. An ordinary debt is not a criminal matter.  They are trying to SCAM YOU!  Ignore it and go to local police and make a complaint.  If they can't help you they can at least refer you to your state's attorney general.

Yes you do.   I've noticed a lot of these rotten scammers are preying on women.  Doubly rotten.  They prey on people who might be in difficult situations and might not know the law or feel uncomfortable going to police or attorney general.
