A woman called me from this number this morning and immediately asks for me to confirm that this phone number is valid and for me to ttell her my name. She wouldn't tell me her name, the name of the company she worked for or even why she needed the information. I asked her why and she said she worked "for a company I do or have done business for now or in the past and she just needed me to tell her my name and confirm that they could call this number in the " (I am currently unemployed and do not do business with any companies at all, I was a waitress.)
When I asked what company wanted the information she said she could not tell me and got really snappy and upset and asked again to just confirm my phone number and name. She even said
"Honey, just say yes and confirm it is a valid phone number, that's all." I said no, I did not phone number to anyone because I wasn't doing business with any company and she got upset and kept talking over me asking the same question so I just hung up.
