They pronounced my name badly - which meant they totally don't know me - and then asked for money. I told them I don't donate over the phone and he became very angry, told me this was the safest way to donate. Not sure who I am donating too, though, he was talking too fast to ever get that clear.
It's disgraceful the way politics is played these days. It isn't necessarily Franken's, or any politicians', fault. This is our fault for not demanding public financing of elections.
Same nuisance calls, day in and day out. The Do Not Call List is a joke, like the rest of the US government systems. Just stealing money from the Treasury and serve no purpose. Even Al Franken doesn't care that his name is being associated with this. Politicians have no time to do their jobs, just figure out ways to manipulate money into their own pockets.
