Someone at this number began calling my landline number a whole bunch of times yesterday, then again early this morning, and a few times more, until mid-afternoon.
Foolishly enough, the caller -- if this is even a LEGITIMATE call -- would hang up as my answering machine turned on (after four rings) or, even more often -- and even more ridiculously -- after only three rings. That hardly gives most people time TO get to their landlines, unless they've got the phone seated right next to wherever they are at the time of the call(s).
I have received 3 calls from this number in 24 hrs. No message left. I called it back. It's for Degree Match. Just listen to the menu, press 2 to be removed from the call list. I got caught by this by signing up for a job search board.
