Got a few of these calls over the past few days, let it go to machine and never left any messages. Finally decided to answer today to tell them to stop calling. Same guy with the accent telling me something was wrong with my computer. I flat out told him, "This is a scam. Take this number off your list and never call me again." He actually had the gall to ask me who I was to make demands of him. I told him I was the one getting all these unwanted calls and repeated to never call me again. His response: "Are you drunk?"
I am getting calls day and night from this number---last one was 3AM. The federal and state governments "do not call list" is another waste of taxpayers money. Surely there is some form of technology that can find these damn crooks.
Good news. "The federal and state governments "do not call list" is another waste of taxpayers money." Those lists cost the taxpayers nothing since they are self supporting. "damn crooks." OK, Crooks=criminals right? Since when have you known a criminal to worry about or abide by a law? As to the technology, what good would it to. They are in a foreign land, either India or Pakistan and both those countries would rather take the bribe than worry about what their country looks like to the rest of the world.
Received a call on my cell phone from this number. While it was still ringing I looked up the number online and came to this page. Glad I didn't answer.
