I get a call from this number Monday thru Friday without fail. I don't have a phone connected to my landline, or I would be cussing people out! The No Call List apparently isn't taken seriously anymore! Stop calling!!
Hey. Thanks so much for calling again just about 24 hours later. Wasn't it enough that I ran over half a dozen of my neighbors' pets yesterday? Yeah. I went over my admitted three pets. But, guess what. You called again. And, I believe I can improve on yesterday's numbers. So, in about half an hour.....I want to keep a schedule going......I'll be putting the squash machine 'Vinny's Van' into action AGAIN. Gosh, yesterday was so much fun. I imagine today's poodle punisher time will be as enjoyable. Here's hoping to hear from you folks tomorrow. I like this new hobby. You just keep giving me reason to control my local pet population and grease the roads with their guts. Works for me. Hope to hear from you again real soon.
Just last night I set some mail from the HSUS on my wife's side table. Then I see all these comments about nagging phone calls. So, I just went to check and see if she opened her HSUS mail. She hadn't. I told her about the nagging phone calls others were receiving. She tore the HSUS mail in half and put it in the shredder. See? This is what happens when organizations nag the living hell out of folks over the phone. It has an effect on their regular snail mail donors. My wife commented "It's easy to scratch them off my list. We needed to cut back on donations anyway in this economy."
I just got a call from 661-670-2607, no name listed on the caller ID. They identified themselves as Donor Services Group calling for the Humane Society. They wanted me to up my monthly donation, they had my information correct, but couldn't just increase my monthly donation, they wanted my credit card information again because I would be making a new monthly donation to the Honor Roll.
The script the telemarketer was using was very bad, or she wasn't well trained.
I like the Humane Society, but they do spend too much of their money raising more money. If Donor Services Group calls again I will ask them to not call again. A second call and I will speak to a supervisor about legal action
I do not doubt they are a legitimate business, I just question how much they would keep of my donation.
thanks for telling me who it is. I just donated to Humane Society a few bucks but I really can't afford to do it regularly. I'm below poverty level person. so I don't want to be solicited to donate again and my number is on the do not call list, but I suppose, if you donate once, they think that does not apply to the charities you subscribe to. Humane Society solicitors, I'm the one pays your wages, so you must find out who has the money to give now, please don't call me.
