I answered the call. I thought it might be Dish Net. It was a guy wanting money for the police. When I explained that money was really tight and that I couldn't contribute, he asked for the man of the house. I told him he was rude and told him not to call again. We will see.
Received another phone call from this number today. They have now called 3 to 5 times in the past month.
I did not answer the phone, and they did not leave a message on my answering machine.
My caller ID reads this phone number as "Dish 1 Dish Net."
I’m almost certain that this is a robocall attempt from telemarketing scammers.
I will report this number to the free service that blocks and will "stop robocalls and telemarketers."
This should help me and others in the future.
Got a call from this number today. Caller ID "0", and no message. I'll wait to see if anyone can say who they are, but it looks like I should block them.
You guys missed an exciting recorded message from "George" who claims to represent some police charity. Just another criminal scammer after your hard-earned cash. Area code 661 is from Bakersfield, CA but it's probably a spoofed number anyway. My caller I.D. says "Dish 1 Dish Net" which is also fake. It's safe to block the number. I just did.
