Number is disconnected, or no longer in service, appears to be a scammer with an accent similar to other calls from the region of India. The Caller ID cleverly says - Kern County. The caller claims he represents PG&E (Utility) and is passing info about government programs. Told him to take me off their list and not not ever call here. They already called back here again, less than 1 hour later. I did not answer. Because of the caller's use of a fake phone number, and his not listening to my -do not call request, this seems to be just an attempt to get energy and home related or personal info.
I answered. Said she was from California Solar initiative or something like that. Call said was from Delano CA. I've gotten many calls from all sorts of solar companies. Asked her to remove my number from whatever list I was on. She asked me if I knew what she was calling about. Then I TOLD her to remove me from whatever list I was on. She said ok and hung up which I thought was kind of rude. Anyway, just block the number. Could be a legit company but I do not want sales people calling my phone or knocking on my door.
same as joe^. I didn't let her speak for more than about 5 seconds before I hung up on her. She'll call again I'm sure. Maybe i'll cuss her out for annoying me at work next time...
