They called me three times TODAY and I keep hanging up on him. African accent and I can hear other men with African accents talking in the background as well. He says he's from Windows and they've received several reports from my computer, blah, blah, blah. I haven't even turned either of my pc's running the Windows OS on in at least 3 months!?! He's trying to tell me that the tech firm he works for has been contracted by "Windows", (idiot doesn't even know that Microsoft owns the Windows OS), and he says he's in Redmond Washington, then leaves me a phone number to contact him with a 661 - Cali area code. Moron.
A man named David (I had to specifically ask for his name) called saying that there's an issue with my windows computer but excuse me, my house has like 5 different computers (most aren't usually used) that run on Windows. And he kept thinking I said the computers that ran beside the windows? I tried to escape the call by saying I was in a meeting and he told me to call him back with area code 661. Dude I'm not even in your country why would I ask you of all people to fix my computer instead of going somewhere local?
the same, but i took the update for my computer. they call back yesterday on name of federal trade commission to refund me. but made a mistake on the transfer and give me 600$ over waht i paid. but this cash deposit on my account came from my own visa card. took 1 day before it's appear on mys account notice. i sent 2 time 500$ to balance the error. so i lose 1000$.
