I just received a call from this company. Is this a scam? They informed me that unless I got them 500 by today that they would have the cops pick me up from my place of work. They are claiming I'm past due which I'm not and that they notified me via email? They were very rude and wouldn't give me clear answers and I'm so upset I have no idea what to think.
I keep recieving these calls too, very threating...I want them stopped. With all the people reporting this as what is happening, why can't they be stopped immediately?
Tell them you do not want them to call you, you are aware that this is a scam and you are reporting it. I have done this in the past and they stopped calling for a little. Now they are back at it again. Good luck!
I keep getting these calls also. Saying they are going to come to my job and put me behind bars. Stupid [***] don't even know that there is no such thing as debtors prison any more. I have a guy named Tom Atkins calling. Yea, use an American name cause the foreign accent won't fool me!!!! I also have a guy named Alex calling me with the same accent telling me to call NOW! Ha, ha what a joke. I have saved their messages. I'm going to record them on my computer and when they call I'm going to play the recording back to them. Who knows, maybe they will get as sick of it as I am and stop calling.
