Just received a call from 1 (661) 798-7182. I did not answer for I didn't recognize the number. But because the area code is in mine I was curious that it may be important. I tried calling it back... only to get the recorded operator message saying that you must dial a one. I dialed the number exactly as it appeared but to no avail. I'm glad to know others are receiving the same thing.. otherwise I would be wondering if I had missed something I wouldn't want to miss. I am wondering if anyone has actually answered the phone when they received a call from this number and what then ensued?
I get calls from this number a lot and when I call back, I too get a recording saying dial 1. I think it's a solar company using the software that allows them to enter a false number to show up on caller id. I get a lot of calls from numbers that do the same thing as this or the message says the number is disconnected. Occasionally someone answers,which is why I say it's a solar co. That's what the guy said when I asked him. There should be a way to stop this kind of call.
