Called yesterday at 8:00 am. Today at 9:30 am. Jim Jones. Sounds all official.. says call may be recorded. Total scam.

called a number of times in the am . asked for me by my firsrt name then hung up

Got a call on my landline and it said local call area.  Left no message and as RHR said, I've been bombarded with these aggressive men calling for donations for the police.  They are VERY aggressive and have a spiel that won't stop.

Called and hung up as my message machine came on.  Listed on ID as "local call area".  Since it is not my area code and is in S. CA, I believe it is a scam.
