Called twice in two hours. First time, CID merely said, "San Jose, CA", I didn't answer. The second time, no CID was displayed whatsoever, just said "incoming call". Thinking it a friend, I answered and it was "Sandy" from ADT. I told her legitimate companies respect the DNC list which automatically makes them criminals. I snarled and told her I'm reporting and to never call again.
I wrote to one of my useless federal "representatives", requesting heavier penalties for these criminals and their incessant harassment, saying that I will call her office every time I get one of these calls. I'll be calling her office about every two hours for the next forever. Feel free to join in the fray...
Called no message will be blocked. I asked the phone company about my getting a call from myself and many other calls the were from not in service. The said there is nothing we can do they "scammers" they have better tech than we do, and no we can't block any more than (9?) calls. I have 250 blocked on a panasonic phone and then got a CPR I'm up to a total of 488. The phone companies can give no help and no security for your number so anyone can use it to call thousands with junk and scams "isn't that just so special."
