Who called from 6694004780

Received text from this number. "Hello, I need a petsitter to take care of my friendly and energetic beagles, They are both indoor/outdoor dogs but can be kept outdoors during the house sitting period.... Let me know your availability and email me on [email protected] for more details. Thanks" Recognized instantly as a phishing scam, likely for check fraud, and did not respond. Found the phrase "friendly and energetic beagles" has been used in similar text messages from other numbers in a google search. Reported to FTC, Verizon security center, and care.com security.

I did reply to this person because I am available on care.com so that is where I thought they got my number. But once they asked for my address I knew something was up. I'm so glad I found this before I game them my address. Which I don't think I would have because why would this person need to know.

Just got a message asking to know my availability to pet sit with that exact email!

I got contacted from a different phone number but the email in the first comment was exactly the same ([email protected]). she said she has two beagles. She promised $350 a week and asked for personal info so she could send me a check.

I received the same exact text, i did not give her my information because my intuition told me something was wring right away. I have been in pet care for many years and this hust seemed off. I have been emailing back and forth and im surprised at the lengthy messages i am getting back. This scammer is very dedicated lol. Here is the number i received a text from 4693337107. I will definitely be finding a way to report them because this is simply not cool. Goodluck to everyone with their businesses :)
