On 22-Oct-13, I received no less than 5 calls from this number. I knew who it was, so I always let it go to voicemail, but they never leave a message. If this is really from Comcast, they should at least have the decency to leave a voicemail describing why they want to get in touch with me. I put them on "block" because I was sick of their harassment. I pay my bills in full and on time each month, so if Comcast wants my attention, they are going to have to do it themselves rather than some stupid 3rd party.
Received a call, but when I answered, they hung up. I got a call from the same number on Oct. 9, and at that time, they claimed to be some kind of 3rd party contracted by Comcast and they wanted to verify that I had certain equipment (router and modem). The weird part was that they told me to call Comcast myself and ask for the tech support department and give them the serial numbers of my equipment. Of course I didn't. My stuff is working just fine and I'm not going to do Comcast's job for them. Just strange that this 3rd party keeps calling. Do not give any personal or account information to these people.
