The fair trade commision does however have live reps willing to take complaints, these folks are trying to intimidate seniors with stories of break and enters in their neihborhoods, they really must be reported for geriatric abuse!
Security system flimflam scheme. One of the most sophisticated robocalls I have ever received. The scumbags behind this telephone scam will almost have you believing that you are talking with a real person. Almost, that is. When you ask a question that the automated message software has not been programmed to answer the recorded voice announces he (Tony) is a fairly new employee and asks to connect the potential pigeon on the other end of the phone to a customer service representative. I played along just to be able to document what occurred next. I got connected to someone but as soon as I asked for the name of the company the person disconnected the call. When I dialed the number back a recorded message from the phone company indicated the number did not exist. A spoofed number and a total scam.
