They called me today. Did not answer. Over the past few weeks I have gotten numerous calls from several different 678 numbers I don't recognize, and I suspect it is all the same company calling. They call early Sunday morning and also late afternoon and evening.
CallerID shows BCFA. The call was made while I was out of the house. The caller hung up before the answering machine could respond so my AT&T uVerse call log shows the call as unanswered.

The number is not spoofed (calling back gets you a pre-recorded message), added to our call blocker.
Do not give to 'charities' who do active calling to random people. They are ineffectively ran and if you are LUCKY .99cents of every $1 of YOUR money is going toward paying for that NEW Mercedes they have to drive...
Seriously folks, these cats make a very GOOD living off YOUR HARD earned dollars!!!

Give directly. If you're contacted by a professional fundraiser for a charity you want to support, hang up and give directly instead. Fundraisers often take 40 to 80 percent of the proceeds. In some cases, charities get nothing, or they can end up paying fundraisers more than they take in, leaving them with a loss.
