Iam getting calls at work and now my neighbor said she is getting calls from this person in dont even have my neighbors number so i dont understand how they are harassing her this is a scam not the first time this happens to me they treaten to send the cops to your house and send you to court but never have prove of what you owe supposely a payday loan dont believe these people and report them right away to your local police department this is my next step these people need to stop scamming people and get a real job
I got a call from this number 6/15/12. They said they were an investigator for Federal Asset Solutions. They asked me to verify my last four of my SSN which I stupidly did. They also played a short recording stating they were recording the call. Anyway the conversation went on to be about a supposed amount that I owed to a payday loan company. The "agent" then said something to the effect of "oh, wait this is screen is from the previous phone call. I'm sorry let me just switch phone screens." He was having difficulty telling me what the debt was for. He transferred me to a "litigator Brown" who had the English skills of a high school dropout. He told me the debt was from Namakan LLC. The focus of the conversation was on getting me to agree to pay off this debt at a settlement price of $800 rather than the $3,002 they say I owed. I told him I needed the specific information regarding the origin of the supposed debt before I would do anything. He said he didn't want to waste time sending me the information if I was not going to pay the debt. I kept telling him over and over that I think I was being scammed and to send me the specifics of the debt. He wanted my email address to send me the information because he was not going to "play games" and mail it to me. I began telling him that he was the one trying to scam me and the he worked for a disreputable company (if it was an actual company at all). Eventually HE hung up on ME. He got to the point where he was just talking over me and I wouldn't let him. We were actually yelling at each other! He issued some lame threat that he would just have to send my account back to the creditor and let the lawyers deal with it and that he didn't have time to continue dealing with me and hung up.
I was so angry I was shaking. I just wish I was able to get more info out of him. I kept telling him to mail me the information but it seemed like he didn't have my address. The little information I got, I was able to determine that this seems to be a scam. I hope they call back so I can make them squirm some more. I think he thought he had the upper hand.
I too have had the same phone call from this person and also a Mr. Andrews. I spoke with my attorney and she stated that these call and companies most likely coming for overseas. The best advise she gave me is to ignore the calls block them if you can. I may get calls at your work, home or even relatives. but remember reputable collection agencies do not leave messages on your phone (or anyone elses) describing your debt in detail. Also not they are used illegal tactics as to threaten you with anything up to a summons you will get if your not going to pay. These are bogus threats and they constitute as harassment. So just let everyone know to ignore phone calls and number they dont recognize. Unfortunately there is not much you can do but that. you con try sending the information onto your Attorney General but I dont know what they would be able to do. so let them call, just dont pick up and ignore them.
Someone named Mr.Andrews called asing about a Kiki Morales and Threatend to take me to court.They left me confused and scared. They said they were doing an investigation and If I knew a person named Kiki Morales. Ill get back if I end up in Jail for them having a wrong number Lololol.
I got same calls have from many numbers this time they looked up someone who had a similar name to me and left a message with them to get me to call them. The women had her husband bring me the number. This is a scam these people have gone to great exstreams to try for over two years to get over 1000.00 dollars from me. Thinking of changing my number beware when I told them I had contacted the police they sent me a Facebook request the mans name is Zade he is from India and even put payday collections
