This number has been calling me for several days, and this morning they called at 8:23. I decided to see who it was, and she said she was with the Atlanta Humane Society. I fussed at her about calling before 9 am and told her that due to so many scams, that I did nothing over the phone. I asked her to remove me from their call list, which she said she would do. I have donated to them in the past, and I know charities are exempt from the Do not call list, but I was already irritated from all the hang up calls on my answering machine. (Yes, I know answering machines are way old tech, but you get to screen your calls that way.)

In this day and age of caller ID SPOOFING, I would not give money to ANY cold caller. If your going to donate to any charity do it directly, not via a cold caller.
