Said I owe on a loan from 2013. They would not give me their firm name or address. Asked for a copy of what they were referring to because I have had no loans. She said could not supply that information or tell me address and office name from where she was calling. Lady sd she was going to sign off on the paperwork and I would be picked up and taken to jail or I could pay $2000. Asked her again if I could see any paperwork that was signed by me and she hung up on me.
This is the voicemail message they left:
Warfield with pretrial intervention you have a pending case in our office that demands your immediate attention press one to be transferred to an investigator
The same kind of call I got about a year a go, this is second time was about an hour ago. The first time, I fallowed the pad to talk to some one, and a woman answered, I asked her name she said a name that I can recall, could be a fictitious. I asked what the call was about, they mentioned they are trying to collect a dept. that I don't remember about. when I enquired the information, she said that I owed $1600 and they mentioned the bank that I have business with. I think this is a fraud to see if they can get you. if this was truth, they should have contacted me by mail to make this more legit.
