I received the same call just minutes ago. I know it is a fraud because the phone belonged to my brother-in-law and he passed away in January. he nor I ever use checks so it had to be a scam.

got a call at work from "bold ideas" claiming this was an arbitration call about a bad check i wrote, i have not had checks for over 25 years and this is b.s. they asked for me and i said you have the wrong number and they hung up.  if i don't know you then you ain't getting nothing from me.

these people are a joke.  what a scam.  they are violating so many Federal Debt Collection Act practices that it's not funny.  don't even deal with them.  just ignore them

I just received a message from this place with the same "bad check fraud" thing. Said for me to call or my attorney. I have gotten a call like this before and made the mistake of calling back. They are rude and aggressive. I was scared so I called my attorney and they said next time record the call because it is illegal for them to threaten you at all. You can not go to jail over a debt like this. Which I don't have one anyways. I filed bankruptcy 3 years ago and this debt that they mentioned was in it, so they can't come after me for it. SCAMMERS! I've learned to block every number they call me on and I NEVER call back!! It's not worth your time. Like someone said before if it is legit, they will get a hold of you by letter and they will follow the law and NOT threaten you! They are full of crap!

More annoying and amusing then anything else, I am on to them as possible ID theft bas someone attempted to file income tax both state and fed. more info against them. If you haven't filed taxes might want to check revenue agencies to make sure someone hasn't filed already in your name.
