Calling from 678-324-4334 and 678-324-4332. Automated systems says to press 1 to avoid having papers served to me at my work/in my county - doesn't give name of company. I called the BBB of Georgia and they can't find a business for these numbers. I can't get an address for this number. If anyone finds it, please post.
I got the same message on my voice mail. "Very serious legal matter. Regarding your social security # and state ID. If you wish to interrupt this process press 1".

There's not much they can do to you. They're most likely not in the same state as you, so the won't spend the money to travel to that state to appear in court. If you do have a debt, they'll most likely sell it to another debt collector for pennies on the dollar. Note... If you do have out standing debt, don't admit to it, simply ask for info on the "alleged debt". most states have a statue of limitation. In California, it's 4 years. Once the statue of limitation has expired, they no longer are able to get a court order to collect. But they can still contact you to try to collect.
Just got a call from this same number
678-324-4334. They said they received notice that I did not show up to my arbitration hearing as per the case against me.. Ummm what case? I have never been served with any kind of papers!! What court? Where? I don't have any idea what debt they are talking about. I am tired of these calls and even if I say that I am not the person they are looking for, they still keep calling me! I know these calls are just scams but can't get them to stop!
