Calls three nights in a row from 678-367-9616 -- caller ID says "Nafesha Walker". 678 is in Atlanta area code. No message left....... So tonight I called back and Ms. Walker actually answered. I asked her who she was and why she was calling -- said she was from "American Kidney Service" and they were collecting items for donations and would be in my area soon, and would I like to make a donation. Asked her why she didn't leave a message to that effect and she said "I'm not allowed to leave messages". Told her I was on DNC list and didn't want these calls and had previously asked to be removed from this call list. She said she makes over 400 calls per day, (no robo) . She asked for my address and said she'd take me off -- told her I didn't give out my address.... and she said she'd tell her supervisor first thing in the morning that I would like to be removed. I told her I 'd also block her number and hope that stops it.
I don't know if "American Kidney Service" is a legitimate company or not, but if they are they are pis*ing people off by calling repeatedly AND NOT LEAVING A MESSAGE ! If this was a legitimate charity, they would leave a message saying why they were calling .... if anyone knows this organization and if they are SCAMMERS, please post. If this is a legitimate organizatiion, someone there needs to get this abusive behavior to STOP ! They are losing donations by acting like a SCAM...... BEWARE !

I would like you to know, American Kidney Services is not a scam. They are a legitimate non-profit that I've been donating to for years. Heck, I practically know some of the girls in that work in the office. You might have changed numbers or something and accidentally got someone who used to donate's phone number.
By the way, if you are on the national DNC list, they can still call you. The DNC list does not stop calls from charities, political organizations, etc. Just call their main office if you want to be removed from the list, it is more effective!
