SCAM OF THE DAY -- Live Indian scammer with a spoofed caller ID of 678-368-8674, called claiming to be working for "Anti-MalwareBytes" calling to "refund the $199 I paid on January 15th 2015 for software".
This was to be accomplished by instructing me to open http://teamviewer.com in a browser (via the "Run" command) so that I could "fill out my refund form" to process the return (while, of course, they took over control of my computer, since teamviewer is a remote support and control website).
Note that Teamviewer.com itself is a completely legit site - it's just one of the sites used by scammers in India to gain total control of your computer - often to ransom it back to you, or to steal financial information. Never EVER follow someone's instructions to go to teamviewer.com or other site that says "remote support" -- unless you're working with a trusted friend to do computer repairs that YOU contacted.
