Just saw it in my recent calls on my iPhone. No message. If you have an iPhone, it's easy to block. Just click on the i in a circle to the right of the number in your Recent Calls. Scroll down and press "Block this caller".
I bought a subscription for a Skype phone number. Anyone can call it and it calls my compute. Then I forwarded my home phone to that number. I have it set to go to my Skype computer number after the first ring. It shows the number and name on my computer. I can answer, or refuse. The good thing about that is, I can block unlimited amount of numbers. I must now have like 3 dozen blocked. And yes, if I unforward my home they are not blocked on it. I have a 20 call limit blocking on the home phone. I just leave my home phone forwarded to my Skype computer number full time. If I do answer, then I just sit and talk to my computer. Maybe not the best, but I love it. The cost for my Skype number is 12.05 ever 3 Months.
Received call on my cell. Caller claimed to be conducting an opinion survey. She asked if I was "my name," and if she was reaching me on a cellphone or landline. I told her that random opinion surveys did not have such information as my name and she said the information was provided, "by her client." I told her that if she was representing a client then it was not an opinion survey. I hung up stating that my opinion was that her call was an invasion of privacy with her attempting to argue with me.
