called home line this time (since apparently I reported this on my cell phone). Left a message since I was on the phone with someone else that said several times press * for your message with some strange music in the background. caller ID says carroll county but not sure if schools or what and a search showed the number assigned to Jasper, Georgia and Newnan, Georiga (neither of which is Carroll County).
called cell phone (which is a number we don't give out). no message but wasn't even arodnthe phoen when called but even if I was wouldnt answer unknown call (wastes my time, litterally since I only have a so many minutes a month)

When I answered this number, it was a recorded message from the food services/cafeteria department of Carroll County Schools. Whenever I see this number, I know my kiddo has forgotten to turn in his lunch money.
School Messenger Service. They will always leave a message if you don't answer. If you DO answer, it will be a recorded message either from your child's school or the school system in general to let you know of upcoming events, school closings, etc. If you have more than one phone number listed on your child's paperwork, they will call each one.
