Received call from Asian type accent lady offering a duct a/c cleaning service. Told them i had a company already and she hung up. I don't do any business with people who just call or show up at my door. If you google their number, nothing comes up. A legit business would have a website or some sort of listing.
01/30/2016 got call from (something) cleaners. Maybe brothers cleaners. Caller had heavy accent. Said it was an air duct cleaning company. I said I was on the do not call list, and she hung up
Air Duct cleaning company scam. I decided to have some fun. I told her that I don't own any ducks just chickens. I asked her if they clean poultry because they do indeed need a bath. They must not clean them because she promptly hung up.
Good one Eric! I might answer and use that one too; maybe geese since my neighborhood is eat up with em. What I've done a couple times lately with obviously unknown numbers is answer, "Puffies Poodle Parlor...can ah hep ya." in my best Southern accent. Or, "Peepee's Pizza...." They always hang up. Not to say that it works or that they won't call back or sell my number. I would think it might work though.
Yes, one call so far from Cleaning Promo. Same outfit that's been around for a while; seem to change numbers about every six months or so. I'm reporting to DNC but they'll probably change numbers before the govt can get to em. When I've answered before (like 6 mos ago?) it sure sounded like an Indian accent.
Anyhow, if I get another call I might do what Eric did, or the Puffies thing, then I'll block the number.
