Received a call today telling me I was overdue on a payment for my Lowe's credit card. Which I have. But, I knew I was not overdue on any payments. Then they said I could avoid a late charge of $30.00 by giving my Visa or Mastercard number to pay my overdue payment right away. I told them I would get on-line later to pay the overdue payment. Then the quoted my address and email address as asked to contact me. I said no and hung up. I called back a few hours later and received a recording that said it was a credit cervices company and to enter or say my account number. I just listened. Then it repeated that it needed my account number and it was in the upper right hand corner of my statement. I then said "I don't know". It recognized that and said it was transferring me. Then the recording said all lines were busy and to try back later. This was obviously a scam and DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!!
I absolutely detest Lowes and the stupid retards that run the debt collectors department.
Long LONG story short, they have a nice little scam of their own that they're running. I have attempted to change me billing address with them countless times in the past year! This has seriously been going on for a year! Somehow my address ALWAYS gets changed back to the old address right around bill time, resulting in me not receiving my bill statement and then my bill payment being late and getting charged $30 late fees.
My card has a limit of $400 (im glad I didnt ask for more, just needed help buying a fridge). I have paid $50 a month for 12 months now. $30 of that is late fees and only $20 goes to the card and interest. Yeah, you do the math. I should have MORE then paid off my card by now!
Nice little scam they have going there. Easy way to make extra money. and theres not a DAMN thing we can do. awesome.

These people call and call and call. No message. Who pays these people to do this? What the heck are they up to? NO good I say! Why doesn't someone put a stop to this crap!
