Called home phone multiple times during day -- leaves no message. 678 is an Atlanta area. Called them back - someone answered and said "this is Jackie in reservations"....said she couldn't hear me and hung up. Called again later tonight after hours, and recording said "you have reached the confirmation department", please leave a message.
Since they didn't leave a message multiple times, I'm assuming this is a SCAM or Phishing attempt -- probably one of those "youve won a free trip" scams, and "all you have to do is give us your credit card number and pay a small fee of $59 for handling, and we'll send you your trip package...doesnt' this sound great!? " --- then they take your credit card number and rip you off. SO.... BEWARE -- anyone who gets a call from this number -- I'm going to lput them on my list of 'live numbers that answer call backs', and give their number out to the other scammers that call me, as my callback number, and then they can feed off each other....

someone from this number has called our home phone 5 times in the last few days....in the morning up until 845 in the evening... caller id just has the number, but no name....i called the number back several times and after 3 to 4 rings, the voicemail picks up and says: 'no one is available to speak with you at this time .... will transfer you ... then a voice says "confirmation department" and asks you to leave a message...... do believe it is a scam using a roto-dialer -- probably trying to get personal info ---- will block the call and hopefully they will stop bothering us.....
Finally found out who they are. They are calling about TimeShares and trying to get people to come out for a free dinner at Ruby Tuesdays.... woman on phone was very nice, and said they were a group called Leisure Getaways out of Spring, Texas, Corporate Headquarters, but they worked with Time Shares all over the country. (Thus the 678 Atlanta area code -- they use different numbers across the country so you'll think they are local ). Said there would be "Area Directors" there at the dinner to explain their program, get feedback on your current time share, and if you were interested in selling they'd help you with that too. Thanked her but told her I didn't have an interest in attending...
