Called the number back and was told I was being recorded. She was very nice and noted my account was pending insurance payment and said everything was fine but it was a reminder there was a current balance that would be due.
This number calls me and they immediately identify themselves as Piedmont Healthcare and ask me what my DOB is. I told them that if I had called them to get information on an account, I wouldn't mind verifying my info, but THEY called me. She said she must have my DOB or home address or they cannot talk to me. I asked what the nature of the call was and she said that they couldn't tell me without identifying myself. I told her I'm not giving personal information to someone that called me when I didn't make the initial contact. She hung up.
