I love that this guy says he's going to come after me, but never mentions my name. It was almost laughable. There's been a bunch of publicity about this guy. How come there are no attempts to stop him?
We received 4 calls today from an Indian sounding voice. Very aggressive saying US treasury blah, blah, police, etc. We are just letting it go to voicemail.
this is a scam! someone called and said that there would be a federal action from the US Treasury if I didn't call this number back. It was a foreigner with a heavy accent. I couldn't understand most of what he said.
4 times yesterday, 3 today. Said he was Steve Martin calling from the US Treasury and I'd be in serious trouble with a federal magistrate if I didn't return the call. (wanted me to call 415-746-6086). Scammer scammer scammer.
Steve Martin with an Indian accent...called from 678-608-3557 and wanted me to call him back at 801-742-7938.
Local news did an investigative report on him (exact same guy) a few months back and filmed the whole conversation. "Steve" started swearing and saying perverted stuff that they had to bleep out.
