called my home stating that they were going to call the authorities if i didn't call them back but couldn't understand anything else they said in the message except at the end the guy said "good luck to you." whatever.
Did they have middle eastern accents and were using americanized names like JohnMathews or Officer Clapper. They are a scam. They will claim you have an unpaid payday loan and that if you do not settle you will be arrested for bank fraud, internert fraud, deception adnother made upo stuff. Reprot them and thier numbers to your state attorney general, the FBI, Homeland Security, the FTC and the Secret Service. Google Steve Six, the Kansas Attorney General and check out his warning. If you scan through this site you will find numerous stories like this all ujsing different names and numbers. DO NOT FALL FOR THIER THREATS! They are a scam probably running out of India and they have bought your information.
i received several calls @ work while on my lunch break & when I checked the message he said his name was Mr. Beckham and he wld hate to embarass me @ work..how he gonna do that if he only has my number????? Where do they get off harrassing ppl @ work?? I have other debts & they don't harass me, I'm not even sure why he's calling or on the behalf of whom..how do I stop it immediately??
