Telemarketing scam. Showing a local number but saying with a company in Houston who wants to partner with local repair businesses, but asking about yelp reviews. Gave the indication that he was actually yelp trying to sell some service.

just got called. spoke like a customer of my business , very inquisitive of my yelp reviews and why I hadn't taken ownership. finally got him to say who he was. claimed to work for an independent media company. cut to chase.. wants $400 /month to manage my yelp page lol! no thanks
The pitch started with "I was looking at your online reviews and I see that .....". I knew it was telemarketer. SMH I said what is your name and what company you are calling from? Mr. Watson, never got a company name. I told him we are on a "Do not registry" and he totally ignore that and started with his sales pitch! HELLO! DID YOU NOT HEAR- DO NOT REGISTRY!
He said: yeah ok but am trying to help you. I hung up and reported to "do not call registry". I am so tired of all these repeated sales calls! I go months demanding they stop calling, but this year am reporting every single one of this un soliciting calls!
Called and stated that we had really great reviews with Google + and other website. He wanted to make sure that customers could reach out to us. I asked him point blank if that was what his business was selling. He stated he was trying to help. Placed him on hold for 5 minutes and when I returned he had hung up.
